What Are Chemo Curls?
Your hair follicles, just like cancer cells, are fast growing.
This is why when chemotherapy attacks fast growing cells, it unfortunately includes your hair follicles.
And this is the reason why many individuals (not all) end up loosing their hair during chemo treatment.

Don’t worry too much since for most people their chemo curls tend to only last for a few months and is not permanent.
Must people revert back after a few months.

When Can You Start Styling Your Chemo Curls?
The best plain is to FIRST prioritize scalp and follicle heath and THEN styling.
This is due to the fact that if you start styling (coloring, heat, etc) too early you risk breakage and you are going back to square one.
I Would Recommend:
- Wait until hair is about 1 inch long before applying heat or styling products.
- Avoid coloring or chemical treatments until your medical team gives the okay—usually 6–12 months post-chemo.
